Johann Hoelzel was born in Vienna on 19th February 1957. In 1981 he became the most famous austrian singer of ever with the name of Falco. The song "Der Kommissar" reached number one in the most of European charts. In 1986 he got his most famous success: "Rock me Amadeus" (N.1 in USA and UK). After a divorce, ups and downs, a daughter not true he died in a car crash on February 6th 1998 while he was preparing his album "Out of the Dark".
In December 1999 the musical magazine "NEWS" elected him singer of the last century.
